Welcome to another exciting hop with this amazing design team whilst we share our inspiration for the adorable sour cream container. You may have just joined me from Tanja or be starting the hope here with me either way hello and thanks for joining us today.
Sour cream container tutorial
Take your chosen designer series paper or cardstock and cut to the size shown below.
Next roll your paper into a cylinder shape and pinch one end flat as shown below. Place a strip of double sided tape inside this end and stick together. Now fill your container with your chosen filling – I am using mini chocolate eggs.
To complete the container, pinch the open end shut and then place double sided tape inside to seal it together. It should look like the container in the second picture below. I stamped the rabbit and coloured with Stampin’ Blends as they share beautifully. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used Memento Black but you could easily subsitute with a coloured ink pad. I fussy cut around them both and stuck them to the container with mini dimensionals ( they are so handy). All you need to do now is gift them to a friend or family !
My final step was to add a little of the new scalloped lace trim which is lined up against the box edge. I’ve shared a little close up below so you can see this in more detail.
Which colour is your favourite sour cream container – Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather or Lemon Lime Twist?
Time to hop on…
