The Inky Nook – hello and welcome
Hello and welcome to my first blog post in which I will introduce you to The Inky Nook. I am the face behind The Inky Nook and my name is Carrie and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I first joined Stampin’ Up! during the Sale-A-Bration promotion in March 2014 as I’d been to a couple of hostess parties and fallen in love with all things Stampin’ Up! I knew I wanted to be a Demonstrator so I could get the discount on my orders and grow my crafting stash. In 2016 I began to offer classes to friends and family and I’m now hosting regular events every month and I love meeting new people and unleashing their creativity. Find out a little bit more over on my About Me page
The Inky Nook’s Stampin’ Style
I am a part time accountant, mum to 2 teenagers, wife, Village Hall treasurer as well as being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator so my craft time is important to me as it helps me relax and gives me my “me time”. I like to create clean and simple cards and here are a few examples from recent makes.
Do you get lost for hours browsing Pinterest (follow me here) and Instagram (follow me here) like I do? When looking for inspiration this often comes from looking at current colour trends, interior design, other crafters and some of my fellow demonstrators.
My Stampin’ Up! family
My Stampin’ Up! family is constantly growing and I stay in touch with many of them outside of our national and global training events. Stampin’ Up! constantly brings me into contact with new people, both customers and other demonstrators.
What can I expect to see from The Inky Nook?
I hope you will join me on my journey as I share my creations with you both personal and business. My hubby and I say to our children, always try your best and then you know you can be proud of yourself, hence me now really focusing on my Stampin’ Up! journey and team development.
However, I always remember that the reason I signed up was because I found something that I love to do, just for me.
Thanks for taking the time to join me and if you’ve got any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch !
Inky hugs,
Carrie x
