Hello and welcome to this month’s Friends of SUBA blog hop where our theme is Autumn.  I’m excited to see what the other ladies have created for you too.  You may be starting the hop with me or just arrived from the lovely Leighsa but there is a full list of everyone in the hop at the end of my post.

Autumn

I never used to like Autumn but as each year passes by I find I love it more and more.  I actually get to the last week of the summer hols and I yearn for colder mornings and the leaves beginning to change colour. One of my favourite colours is purple, in any shade !  This gave me the perfect excuse to get out Blackberry Bliss and go for it and then my little pumpkins from Rebecca Harris Designs are currently my favourite accessory on my kitchen dresser.

The sprig punch came in so handy to add some detail behind the embossed sentiment label.  I used Mossy Meadow, copper foil sheets and sparkle glimmer paper.  Here is a slightly closer shot so you can see them in more detail.

Then I finished the card off by adding a layer of whisper white for the message inside and used the Stitched Labels Framelits to add a cross-stitch effect.  You can just see one of my friendship birds hiding out in there…
