Hello and welcome to the first Tantalizing Stampers Blog hop where we are sharing Spring with you. The team is headed up by Zoe Tant and you can navigate the hop using the list at the bottom. So let’s get going as I share a stamp set from the upcoming new annual catalogue which releases on 1st June !
Daisy Lane stamp set
For those Tantalizing Stampers who attended the recent OnStage event we all received this gorgeous stamp set as part of our goodie bags (my last blog post was all about OnStage – click here . This set will co-ordinate with our existing daisy punch and the new small daisy punch. To create my card stamp the small daisy flower head using Versamark ink. Next cover the stamped images with white stampin’ emboss powder on to a Whisper White card layer. The final step is to heat the powder with a heat tool and ink up a brayer with So Saffron ink and roll over the embossed layer.
The brayer helps create shading which looks like it has been sprayed on to the card layer. Next glue the layer to a So Saffron card base and stamp the large daisy twice in So Saffron and punch out with the large daisy punch. Glue the daisies together slightly offset to create a full daisy and embossed the “Smile” sentiment. The Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequins just add a little bling – are you ready to see the finished card?
Matching pillow box
How can you create the co-ordinating pillow box? Stamp and punch another daisy and colour a strip of polka dot tulle ribbon, with So Saffron ink. Now glue to the front of the box and create the sentiment in the same way as on the above card and fussy cut it out.
Before you hop on here are the card and matching pillow box together, ready to make a friend smile !
Thank you so much for joining me today and if you’ve got time I’d love to hear what you think of my post. Now let’s see what the next Tantalizing Stamper has in store for you by clicking through the hop list below.
