Hello and welcome to The Inky Nook with me, Carrie. Whether this is your first time of joining me or you are a regular visitor I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. I am typing up this blog post whilst sat in the shade in our back garden. So are you ready to see my next Sailing Home creation.
If you remember I said last week I would share my other fun fold card with you after the scrappy strip fold card I shared with my Stamptastic Friends blog hop pals (see the post here ). I have loved the Sailing Home designer series paper (DSP) which is soon to retire although I’m happy to say the Sailing Home cling stamps and Smooth Sailing dies are carrying over to the new catalogue.
The stripy DSP in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue are perfect for a masculine card and I selected a Balmy Blue card base. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue and die cut 2 of the ship wheels in Early Espresso and Sahara Sand to peek out from behind the sentiment.
Have you got the Sailing Home bundle too? This is definitely a versatile set and I think the stripes work so well on this card. Would you like to see some more fancy fold cards in future blog posts? Leave me a comment below and let me know. I shall be back at the weekend with some Share Sunshine creations.
Until then, inky hugs,
Carrie xx
