The Beautiful Friendship stamp set contains watercolouring images that make your papercrafting projects look effortlessly professional. It can be used for birthdays, friendship and so much more. I used this set for my weekly facebook live session which is every Wednesday evening at 8pm (GMT).
I created the card above using Rococo Rose, Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron. This colour combination for me is perfectly feminine and floral. You can re-create this card with your own colour combo choice my only advice is too ensure there is a balance between light and dark tones. Stamp the larger double flower head in Rococo Rose and re-ink before stamping the same image upside down. This was followed up using the other colours and stamps to create a bouquet arrangement to frame the sentiment.
The Label Me Lovely punch complements the sentiments in this stamp set and I want to share how I created the sentiment label. First stamp your sentiment and punch out on whisper white cardstock. Next, I took a piece of Roccoco Rose cardstcock and punched out another label with the same punch. Finally cut this label in half and then glue to the back of your stamped label image slightly offsetting its placement. By offsetting the placement you create a frame behind your stamped label which I think enhances the card. A clever little tip for you with your label punches !
Alternative colour combo for beautiful friendship
I like to challenge myself in my facebook live sessions to use colours that I are not in my usual colour choices. So the next card I created used Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and a hint of Blackberry Bliss. I chose to make Coastal Cabana the primary colour and made a card base in the same colour.
This card uses some of the other lovely stamps in the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. The sentiment label was created using Pumpkin Pie ink stamped onto Pumpkin pie cardstock. The Coastal Cobana label frame was created in the same way as the first card. However this time I cut it in half from side to side rather than top to bottom.
Which card was your favourite from this week? Let me know in the comments below, my facebook live followers liked the Rococo Rose card most.
I will include the product list below in case you want to order any of these items for yourself until next week when I shall be back with my Stamptastic Friends for our monthly blog hop.
Enjoy your Sunday’s.
Inky hugs,
Carrie xx
