2020-22 In Colours
Hello and welcome to the Stamptastic Friends monthly hop and this month we are sharing the gorgeous new In Colours with you. We love to inspire you each month with different papercrafting ideas and we all have our own individual style.
I am completely in love with the new In Colours and I couldn’t just pick one favourite out of the 5 colours. The 5 colours are Misty Moonlight, Bumble Bee, Magenta Madness, Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider.
Poppy Moments flowers
Today’s card starts with a Misty Moonlight card base, cut at 14.cm by 21cm and then scored at 10.5cm. Next, cut a Very Vanilla card layer measuring 13.9cm by 9.5cm.
The flowers use 3 of the In Colours; Misty Moonlight x 2, Bumblebee x 2 and Magenta Madness x 1. Glue the separate poppy elements together and allow to dry. With hindsight, I would recommend using the new adhesive sheets to assemble and glue the die cuts. The flower centres are created from Basic Black and Bumblebee cardstock using the Poppy Moments dies. After that, the excess flower overhang on the vanilla layer is trimmed off to make the edges straight.
The leaves are die cut from Just Jade card and placed in position behind the Magenta Madness flower. This flower is the central focus of the card layer. The final step is to add the rectangle “stitched” frame to complete the card.
What do you think? Which is your favourite In Colour from the 2020-22 range?
Inky hugs,
Carrie xx
