We all have a friend who needs a message whether it’s a pick me up or a thank you for being there.
Send a card to a friend
My friends, family and customers regularly receive cards from me as I like them to know that during lockdown they are always in my thoughts. The Lovely You bundle is a stamp set and punch which give you so many options. The Lovely Labels Pick a Punch is ideal for adding the finishing touches to your sentiment labels. There are two design options and three width options meaning you can create 6 different sized labels ! I’ve created 2 gorgeous cards to share with you today and all you need is this bundle and 3 ink pads.
Lovely You bundle
Both cards I’m sharing with you use Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo. For the first card I picked a Balmy Blue card base measuring 14.9cm by 21cm and scored at 10.5cm. The card layer is also Balmy Blue and stamped on and off with Balmy Blue ink. This was followed up by stamping onto Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo card strips and then edging them off with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch,
The final step was to add the stamped sentiment and punch off one end with the same punch previously used. The bottom 2 label strips were glued and placed slightly offset and the sentiment was on dimensionals.
Smile my friend
My next card for you is for when you need to send a friend a message to remind them to smile again ! Daffodil Delight is a sunshine colour for me and instantly makes me feel happier. I used it for the card base topped with a Whisper White cardstock layer. The bottom half was a mixture of random stamping on and off with the same 3 colours as the first card.
I had a little stampin’ blooper when I made this card during my facebook live so I showed my followers to hide it. I stamped the small flower on some spare white card and fussy cut it out. The “smile” was stamped onto a Balmy Blue card strip which was edged with some Melon Mambo mini strips. This card is a much bolder layout and is definitely aimed at bringing a smile to a friend’s face.
So now all you need to do is let me know which is your favourite card “just because” or “smile”
