So early on this week I realised we wouldn’t be getting our usual flux of trick or treat visitors this evening for Halloween 2020. I decided to make our immediate neighbours a little treat instead. I have used the same box making method which I shared on my blog earlier this week.
Have a hoot Halloween card
I stamped the owl in the tree onto a whisper white notecard using Memento Black ink. Whilst letting this dry, I stamped the sentiment in the top left hand corner using Memento Black ink too. After the ink had dried I coloured the owl and tree in with Stampin’ Blends. I’m not sure I would like a spider dangling in the tree next to me – how about you?
Halloween 2020 trick or treat bag
I hope our neighbours are going to like their trick or treat bags which I’ve filled with some sweets. You could fill them with any small treats like chocolates, mini cake bars. I used white cardstock for this treat bag rather than designer series paper earlier this week. The bag looks just as effective with the addition of the die cut pumpkin owl and spiders web. After I had coloured them in using watercolouring pencils I reached for the wink of stella brush. The glitter looks so effective especially on the spiders web made from black cardstock. The ‘Boo’ sentiment is heat embossed using white embossing powder which pops out against the black cardstock.
How are you celebrating Halloween 2020?
Inky hugs,
