Welcome, today I want to share this pretty mini album with you all. I am really enjoying making other papercrafting projects at the moment as well as cards. I designed this album to give me a template that could be adapted for a variety of uses. Some of these ideas were; a birthday calendar, mini photo book, Christmas preparation lists and a gift card/money wallet holder.
The album cover requires one sheet of coloured cardstock and then the rest of the details are up to you. You could just stick panels of cardstock on the inside and not have pockets if you wanted to keep the design even simpler.
Inside the mini album
The below picture shows the inside pocket detail which I ‘dressed’ up with some designer series paper and a little stamping. I like the pockets with the inserts as it adds some extra dimension and detail to the project.
Front cover of the mini album
The front cover uses stamped images cut out with the jar punch and the flowers were fussy cut after colouring with Stampin’ Blends. I’m completely addicted to Stampin’ Blends currently as you can add such depth to your colouring with them. The more you practise with them the more confident you become.
I am offering this mini album as a free tutorial to anyone signing up to my Ink It Up news and my existing mailing list will receive this shortly as a little thank you for their support. If you’ve got any questions leave me a comment below or use my contact page. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back on Tuesday with the Tantalizing Stampers DSP blog hop.
