Welcome to the monthly Stamptastic Friends blog hop where the theme is Saleabration. I am using the Awesome Otters stamp set which you can earn for free with an order of £45 or more. It is always a good idea to have some cards ready for when it is a busy month for birthdays. Ready to find out how you can make quick cards with the stamparatus?
Using the stamparatus in simple steps
First get your stamparatus, a stamp set with images and greetings and a black ink pad along with some card layers. My card layers measure 13.9cm by 9.5cm and I am using very vanilla cardstock. Position your card layer as shown and secure in place with the magnets. I recommend placing in the corner so you don’t have to remember exactly where it was placed in the middle.
Place the image stamp in the middle of the layer or offset to one corner and then fold over the stamparatus cover for the stamp to stick to. Ink up your stamp and then fold the cover back over on to the layer to stamp the image.
Add additional images or a greeting using the stamparatus for your quick cards
I wanted to add a party hat and birthday greeting to my card. So, next position the hat stamp and the greeting stamp where I wanted them on the card front (see below)
Fold over the second Stamparatus cover to pick up these next stamps and repeat the inking and stamping from above. By positioning the separate stamps in the order that you want to place them you can utilise both layers without repositioning each time. Replicate all these steps for as many card fronts as you want to make.
Finishing steps
Add a pop of colour to the party hats using the 2021-23 In Colour Stampin’ markers. You could colour the otter in aswell and I would recommend Stampin/ Blends or watercolouring for this.
Then glue the card fronts to some colourful card bases which again I used the In Colour cardstock for. If you want to step the cards up another level you could use stampin’ dimensionals instead of glue and add some coloured or sparkly embellishments.
I hope you now feel more confident on how to make quick cards with the stamparatus. If you’ve got any questions just leave a comment below and I will happily answer them before you hop on to the next person in the blog list below.
So adorable! I love my stamparatus and your cards!
I really need to use mine more this year as it’s under used in my craft room but perfect for batching your cards.

Thanks Gina – sometimes some simple instructions is all you need to make you feel more confident at having a go.
A lovely Stamparatus tutorial Carrie! A underused tool in my craft room but it’s such a good way to batch make cards!
I absolutely agree Heather – it’s an underused tool in my craft room too so this reminded me why I need to use it more 🙂
