Stampin’ Up! Onstage April 2018

What is Stampin’ Up! OnStage April 2018?

It is a bi-annual event bringing together approximately 500 UK Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  We spend the day crafting, watching live demonstrations of sneak previews and waiting for new product giveaways.  Stampin’ Up! ONstage April 2018 is also extra special as Stampin’ Up! are celebrating their 30th year in business.

I normally travel down with my Stampin’ Up! best friend Lizzie and we love our “Thelma & Louise” road trip down to Telford.

One of my favourite parts is getting to catch up with my demonstrator friends and other team members. This is me catching up with my gorgeous Stampin’ twin Eimear – pop over and visit her amazing blog here

My swaps

We all make swaps which can be any craft item/project to exchange with each other and due to a busy few weeks I only managed to get 20 swaps made.  These were my affirmation swaps and I hoped the recipients all liked their message as if you’re like me sometimes we forget to slow down and enjoy the little things.  I stamped the background with the Playful Backgrounds photopolymer set (see all the stamps here). I randomly coloured the spots in using Stampin’ Blends and glued the spotty layer to a Bermuda Bay cardstock base layer.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Yay You current hostess stamp set and cut out with the stitched shapes framelit dies click here and a twist of silver mini sequin trim with some mini dimensionals underneath.

I will quickly share my other project which I used the Hello Gorgeous see it here and the stitched shapes framelits dies.  I really can’t live without this particular set of dies as they really give the extra finishing touches to your sentiment.  These cards were for a handful of my Stampin’ Up! besties just to let them know I appreciate them.

Tomorrow I will pop back to share the current annual catalogue retiring list with you all.  Then on Saturday me and the SUBA blog hop girls will be sharing our favourite retiring items with you.

Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you enjoyed what I’ve shared or feel free to ask any questions.  You can privately message me here

Inky hugs,
