Little bottle box instructions

Materials required:

3 x mini bottles (mine measure approx 4″ tall and 1.5″) filled with your chosen filling

1 sheet of A4 cardstock

1 sheet of 12″ x 12″ designer series paper (unless you want to stamp or emboss your cardstock base)

Adhesives of your choice – I used tear and tape adhesive mainly with glue dots for closing the box.

Step one

Trim down your cardstock to 11.75″ by 5″.  Score this at 1.5″, 5.5″, 7″ and 11″.

Step 2

Cut two pieces of co-ordinating designer series paper  to 11.25″ by 4.5″ and glue to either side of the cardstock.  You will be left with a small frame around the edge. I scored again following the cardstock lines. There will also be an off cut measuring 4.5″ by 0.75″ which will be used on your bottle belly band.

Bottle holder sleeve

Using the remainder cardstock cut a piece measuring 9″ by 1.25″.  Score at 0.5″, 2″, 7″ and 8.5″ and glue the DSP offcut from earlier in to the middle section.  Pop tear and tape adhesive on each end flap and stick to the box base lining up to cover the thickest part of your bottles.

I also added a butterfly label in the centre of the sleeve to add a little extra detail.

Little bottle box handle

From the remaining cardstock cut a strip measuring 8″ by 1.25″ and score at 1″, 2″, 6″ and 7″.  Apply tear and tape adhesive to the end flaps and stick to the top of your bottle box to make the handle.

Final steps

To finish mine off I popped three glue dots along the handle lid and stuck to the front clover flap.  Next I added an embossed sentiment label to the front of the little bottle box so it is ready to gift to someone !
