Hello and welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends blog hop where we are sharing some Easter crafting ideas.

My children are a little older now so they don’t want any Easter egg hunt in the garden anymore.  I still like to get them a little Easter gift and send them a card so that’s my inspiration for today.

Easter gift box idea

The acetate boxes are great for holding a set of handmade cards and envelopes but today I’ve found a different use for them.

I took some shredded tissue paper to fill the inside and I will be hiding a gift card in between it.  You could also put some mini eggs inside or solid flat Easter chocolates.

I stamped the squirrel and coloured it in with Stampin’ Blends, these are my new favourite pens !  If you look below, I added a little wink of stella to the flower for a little sparkle.  I punched him out with the Label Me Lovely punch and stuck him to a stitched labels circle.  Isn’t he adorable?

Easter card for my teenagers

I have paired up the Layered with Kindness and Fable Friends stamp sets to create this card.  The background layer was built up starting with the leaves followed by the flowers and finished off by the tiny seed head shapes.

I’ve kept the colours simple with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Yellow, Mint Macaron and a hint of Petal Pink.

The rabbit has been stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends just adding in Crumb Cake as a new colour.

The Easter sentiment was created on black cardstock using white embossing powder and really pops out against the other colours – would you agree?

Time to hop on !

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you will to continue to “hop” along and see everyone’s Easter projects.  Have you made a start on your Easter cards?

I will add a list of products after the blog list in case you wondered how you could re-create these at home yourself.  If you have a minute I’d love to hear what you thought about my projects in the comments below.

Inky hugs,

Carrie xx
