As I sit writing this the rain has just started pouring down outside my window a bit like raining cats and dogs ! That is exactly what I want to share with you today – cats and dogs. We have 2 pets Herbie the dog and Misty the cat and they have a love-hate relationship.
Playful Pets coffee and card
I knew my virtual Crafty Cuppa regulars would love this product suite. So their craft kits this month contained this card and a gift box. All they had to do was pick their favourite pet – dogs or cats…. which would you pick?
These would be perfect to send to your pet loving friend and you could fill the gift box was with some pet treats. How about one for your pets vets? These projects showcase how versatile and easy the designer series papers (DSP) are to use. I used the Pampered Pets stamp set for the images on my cards with the coordinating dies. I coloured the dog with Stampin’ Blends and the cat with the watercolouring pencils from Stampin’ Up!
My class attendees fussy cut their chosen animal out from their DSP and glued them to their projects.
Finishing touches
Finally the finishing touch was the playful pets trinkets tied on with twine to the card and used as a mock box catch on the gift boxes . I think these give a cute finishing touch right?
