Hello, its Carrie here and welcome today ! I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 6 years now. You can find out a bit more about me here. Anyway, back to welcoming those new people in your life or those off on new adventures. I am sharing a pretty card and gift box with you all today.

Welcome to…..

I love to send cards for all sorts of occasions and a welcome card is definitely one of them. You might want one for friends moving home, welcoming a new starter to the office or a new neighbour. The Life Is Beautiful stamp set is versatile because you can use just the images alone or with the sentiments.

This stamp set was the focus for my Facebook live this week and proved to be a popular choice with my followers. You could easily pick your own colour combo but I’ve included the mine in the product list at the end of the blog. The paper pumpkin boxes are the perfect size for small treats at 14.9cm x 9.5cm x 2.5cm. I thought perhaps some homemade brownies or tealights would be nice. I’d also recommend the gorgeous iced edible inspiration from Caroline at The Kitsch Hen. I am always placing an order for some sort of occasion.

How can I make this?

Cut yourself a Crumb Cake card base from half a sheet of A4 cardstock. Next you need a Whisper White card layer measuring 14.4cm by 10cm. I stamped the tree on each edge of the card layer and then randomly stamped the tree blossom. These also look a bit like some of the garden lantern lights you might have in your own trees. I couldn’t resist adding the little bird house hanging from one of the trees. Finally I stamped the “hello” on whisper white cardstock and used the Lovely Labels pick a punch to add some detail on one end. This was framed by a matching Crumb Cake label.

I hope you like my welcome project inspiration today – let me know who you would send a “welcome” to in the comments below. Join me on Wednesday evening for me next Facebook live at 8pm
