Over the course of 2020 so far I am realising how much I appreciate the small things that friends and family do to show they care about us. We’ve sent “hello” cards to them, afternoon tea deliveries, sweets all to support local businesses too. A video calls doesn’t compare to seeing them in real life does it?

I live in the UK and we have and continue to be careful about how we see friends and family as some of the lockdown restrictions lift. In fact this weekend has been the first time we’ve met grandparents and siblings with cousins. A barbeque yesterday at my brother’s house and then brunch this morning at Granny’s house. Thanks to the sunny weather we were able to enjoy al fresco eating.

Hello card using Good Morning Magnolia from Stampin' Up! by Carrie Bates at The Inky Nook

I’m sending these cards out in the post this week as little “hello” we are thinking about you. A month or so ago I sent one to my godmother in Australia and it made their day when it arrived as it was so unexpected. Just so you know the colour combination I’ve used today is Mint Macaron, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake.

The Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and co-ordinating dies are so versatile for your papercrafting needs. They can also be used to create 3D projects such as gift decoration, home decor frames. Last year I created a floral wreath using the magnolia dies, daisy punch and an embroidery hoop. You can view the pictures on my facebook page

Thank you for joining me

I hope you enjoy my hello projects today and they help you see how you could use them in your crafting. You can easily switch the sentiments for a happy birthday or thank you. I will include a product list for you in case there is anything you might like to order. So until next time….

Inky hugs,

Carrie xx
