First of all sending you love and hugs today just in case you need them. I am so grateful for my husband as we have been together almost 25 years but normally we just send each other card. Today, he surprised me with a valentine themed breakfast though. Anyway, let me share how you can make your own valentine card !

I have kept things simple by die cutting hearts using the Be Mine Stitched dies from white cardstock. By arranging these randomly on a white card layer you can create a subtle love themed background. You could use any other colours perhaps for another ocassion such as a wedding, engagement announcement or an anniversary.

The next step was to die cut the word, love, using the Playful Alphabet dies using Real Red cardstock. I would recommend using the self adhesive sheets or the foam sheets before you die cut because this makes it so much easier to glue the letters to the card.
