It’s the monthly Tech 4 Stampers blog hop and the theme is seasonal fun. My project today is converting this tri-fold card/album into your Christmas planning lists for 2021. Winter is possibly my favourite seasons because we celebrate our wedding anniversary, Christmas and my birthday in December !

My original design for this card uses the Jar of Flowers stamp set. However today I am making it with the dies and designer series paper from the Whimsy & Wonder product suite. This product suite is so popular right now so it should be back in stock soon. Likewise as an alternative you could use any of our gorgeous Christmas themed cardmaking supplies.

Step 1 – create your cover

Firstly you need to create the cover followed by the pockets for your lists to slot into. Choose different designer series paper for each list or like me keep 2 the same and one different.

Step 2 – make your Christmas planning lists and inside cover

For example, my Christmas planning lists will include: who to buy presents for, Christmas activities to be booked in, Christmas dinner menu ideas. You could even make extra lists to slot behind if you needed to so in addition I will use the inside cover pictured below as a list too.

Step 3 – decorate your front cover and add the ribbon bow

Now use your imagination to create your Christmas themed front cover. I would recommend using the Christmas trees dies with some cardstock and designer series paper. Remember to position your ribbon behind the front cover before you stick it in to place or it will sit on top of your cover hiding your design. The small stars you can see I am adding look like raised epoxy embellishments. However they are actually die cut card stars glued into position before adding shimmery Crystal Effects on top. Don’t they look effective?
