I am so excited to share this simple card template with you today as part of the Stamptastic Friends monthly blog hop.

We are sharing projects using current Stampin’ Up! products that could earn you free Saleabration products or a project made with Salebration items. The cards today are perfect for Valentine’s Day or just to let your bestie know how much you love them ! Even better this template can be replicated for any occasion – birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you and so on….

Simple card template details

Quite simply you need the following:

• white card base measuring 14.9cm by 21 cm, scored at 10.5cm on the long side
• one piece of designer series paper measuring 10cm by 10.7 cm. Next cut this at 7.2cm on the 10.7cm side to give you 2 rectangles
• a piece of the sweet sorbet ribbon approximately 35cm long

Now just decide which panel will be the larger one and wich will the top or the bottom piece. Once you have made those decisions glue the small panel onto your card base. Before you glue the larger panel place the strip of ribbon behind it and secure into place. Let the glue dry a little and then tie a little “knot bow” and trim the ends to your preferred length. I chose to keep my bow ends short.

Finally I added some of the adhesive backed hearts and flowers and the ribbon with a small knot tie which I think just add the finishing touches. These embellishments are handrawn by the designers and with 16 of each in 4 different colour choices to choose from you can craft for ages!
