Cute pet notecards

We have a cat called Misty who was stray before she came to live with us so we think she is about 9.5 years old. Today she has to go in to the vets for an operation as they have found she has a lump in her paw. She’s a very independent cat and let me tell you, she shows our dog who is boss. The cat card is inspired by her as she does like a fishy treat and to catch mice ! This card is just stamping and then I am using the watercolouring pencils to colour the images in.

Now Herbie our dog is a a very cheeky cockapoo who is always after a treat so I couldn’t resist making a doggie card in the set too. The third card I made was for a sympathy card when a friend has to say goodbye to their beloved pet which is a day we all fear.

Custom made DSP envelopes

Finally I made the envelopes from DSP and use my now retired envelope punch board to make them. Alternatively, the scoring board and paper trimmer are suitable to make your own envelopes and give a twist to your handmade card.

I love using my DSP to make envelopes as they add a little more wow to your cardmaking. How lovely would it be to have these posted through your letterbox? The pizza box was covered with a square of DSP and I fussy cut the animals out from some of the other DSP. Please do hop around the rest of the blog hop to see what the other ladies have made.
