The Trimming the town product suite is fabulous in its entirety but actually you could simply purchase the designer series paper (DSP) and make a lot of Christmas cards on their own. Let me show you how…. although if you’re like me and love the whole suite you will want to order it all. It was my monthly virtual Crafty Cuppa session on Friday and my attendees got to make the 2 cards I’m going to share with you today.

House Christmas Card

We started off the session with a simple card whilst we chatted and shared how our weeks had been. This card has a Poppy Parade card base, a DSP layer topped with a white card rectangle on dimensionals. Their card kit contained a coloured house cut from the DSP, a wreath and some of the scripted font sheet.

I added my wreath between the windows of the house and added some wink of stella for some sparkle. Then it was time to pick my sentiment label from the script sheet, Merry Christmas, was my choice. There are several language translations which would be nice to send to European friends and family too.

Z fold Christmas town card

I found my inspiration for this card from Catherine Proctor one of our Australian demonstrators. A z fold card is easy to make and I shared another z fold card back in August using slightly different measurements. I made up the card base and second z fold strip and then decorate with the DSP and the houses fussy cut out. I might have added a bit more wink of stella to the front doors aswell !

Let me know in the comments if you love these papers now I’ve shared them and if you’ve started your Christmas card making yet. Until next time,
